Hon. Indu Thomas
was appointed by Governor Jay Inslee to the Thurston County Superior Court and began serving as a Superior Court Judge on November 1, 2021. Judge Thomas previously served as a trial judge, presiding over civil and criminal jury trials and a variety of pre-trial criminal and civil calendars. Her current rotation is hearing family law matters and as the Family Recovery and Safe Babies Court Judge.

Matthew L. Clucas
is a commissioner at the Superior Court of Kitsap County. He is currently assigned to the dependency, family law, and protection order dockets. Commissioner Clucas also oversees several juvenile court programs, including the pre-adjudication treatment court (KPAC), and the truancy and at-risk youth courts.

Carena C. McIlwain
is an attorney at Anderson, Fields & McIlwain. She focuses her practice on family law. Ms. McIlwain handles dissolution actions with or without children, relocation actions, modification actions, parentage actions, third party custody actions, complex and high asset dissolutions and domestic violence petitions. She volunteers at the neighborhood Legal Clinic, at the Family Law Information Center and on the Status Conference Calendar. Ms. McIlwain earned her B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Washington, and before the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
